SWAT Team in Colorado Called Into Action as Superheroes

Superheroes were in action on Thursday at Children’s Hospital in Colorado, bringing smiles to patients and their families. Members of the Aurora Police Department dressed up as the comic book characters. Then one-by-one, Batman, Spiderman, Iron man and Captain America rappelled down the wall and waved to smiling patients inside. The department says it’s the third year they’ve dressed up for the kiddos fighting injury or illness. They called the kids “the real superheroes” and said they “inspire us.”
