Swimming for a Cause

Hundreds of swimmers attempted the grueling journey from Alcatraz to Aquatic Park in San Francisco today for the 21st annual “Sharkfest Swim.” Among those athletes were Danville native Jessica Steffens and Peter Finlayson. For them, it’s not about the escape from the Rock. They’re swimming for a cure.
