Tennessee Church Sign Pokes Fun at Heatwave

The sign outside the Edgemoor Baptist church in East Tennessee says, “Too hot to keep changing the sign. Sin bad. God good. Hear more Sunday at 10 am.” Members of the church say the message is spot on, considering the sweltering summer they are experiencing. Pastor Rick Miller said he hopes it helps potential visitors to remember their name and stop by for a service. The state is in the grips of a heat wave, with temperatures consistently hitting the 90s or higher.
