Valley Fire Swells to 62,000 Acres, 10 Percent Containment

Northern California’s aggressive Valley Fire, which killed at least one person, destroyed 400 homes and sent residents fleeing along roads where buildings and vehicles were engulfed in flames, surged to 62,000 acres — or 95 square miles — on Monday.
