Whistleblower Lawsuit Alleges SamTrans Ignored Warnings of Fraud

The San Mateo County Transit District, CEO Mike Scanlon, and a supervisor have been named as defendants in a federal whistleblower lawsuit. Former senior accountant Ling La says transit district managers subjected her to harassment and eventually fired her after she raised concerns about a series of transactions she believed to be fraudulent.
