About 40% of adults in the United States has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine with one quarter fully vaccinated. Scientists see mass vaccination as a major step toward herd immunity, where enough people vaccinated could prevent another COVID-19 pandemic. However, some people are still afraid or adamantly against the vaccine. How serious is this resistance? NBC Bay Area political analyst Larry Gerston explains.
