New Lawsuit Filed Over Whale Deaths

Hundreds of endangered whales are being killed off California’s coast, according to a lawsuit filed Thursday against the federal government. The lawsuit comes after a series of reports by NBC Bay Area’s Investigative Unit showing how cargo ships are hitting and killing whales off the coast at some of the highest rates in more than a decade.
