“Spring” Sunshine & Showers Far North

A large ridge of high pressure centered just to our southwest will deflect incoming moisture and weather systems to our north over the next few days. This will lead to dry and mostly mild weather with highs as warm as the mid to upper 60s inland for areas not shrouded in fog for the morning. Yet again for our North and East Bay valleys, a slight offshore wind will pump in extra moisture and fog which will likely lead to some cooler temperatures – highs mainly in the 50s to low 60s. A weather system will clip by the Bay Area on Sunday, bringing in more clouds and some brief cooling with a slight risk of showers for the North Bay north of Marin/Sonoma counties. The rest of the week including Martin Luther King Holiday Monday looks dry with temperatures ranging from the 50s to mid 60s. Enjoy your weekend! – Rob Mayeda
