Freezing Start to Sunday

A frost advisory continues into Sunday morning along the coast and inner bay with 20s and low 30s possible across the valleys through 9am. Daytime highs will remain cool mostly upper 40s to mid 50s before temps cool quickly again post-sundown. Another round of frost and freeze warnings may be issued for Sunday night. The forecast trends a bit more mild early in the new week as increasing moisture and onshore breezes help to moderate the much cooler, drier polar air over the region. We’ll see a chance for some showers on Thursday, with best odds for areas north of San Francisco. The rest of the week looks drier than average heading into Christmas weekend.
