Breezy Monday

Locally gusty north winds will continue into Monday with gusts at 40 mph+ at times in the North and East Bay hills. Highs should climb into mid 60s for most of the Bay Area. There’s still a slight chance for a few afternoon showers, building near the hills south of San Jose and Santa Cruz. An upper level low bringing more intense showers across Central and Southern California will begin to the move to the east later on Monday which will help end the threat of showers and wind speeds should begin to ease heading into Monday night. Look for some pretty chill temps for Tuesday morning where winds are light with 30s and 40s to start the day. Daytime temps should trend warmer as high pressure rebuilds through midweek.Next chance for showers will come from a cool Gulf of Alaska system for Friday with highs dropping into the 50s to lower 60s to start the weekend.
