Breezy, Mild With Possible Showers

Two areas of low pressure will maintain below average temperatures and chances for showers at times this week. For Monday-Tuesday, an area of low pressure near the Central Coast will encourage a chance of showers especially mid to late afternoon along the coastal range, best odds for the North Bay mountains. Breezy onshore winds will keep temps mostly in the 60s. Temps should rise slightly for Thursday into Friday before another area of low pressure drops in, and depending on recent computer model trends may end up east of the Sierra or directly over NorCal. Either scenario keeps us near or below average temperature-wise with breezy conditions continuing. However the latter solution needs to be watched as we could see showers at times for Memorial Day weekend and the potential for late season high elevation snow showers in the Sierra as well.
