Clearing & Breezy, Rain Returns Easter Sunday

Our recent April rain boosted the Sierra 8 station index (including the Cascades Mt. Shasta to Hwy 50 / Tahoe) to 89.7” an all time record eclipsing the old record of 88.5” set in 1982-83. By the end of the weekend we will be adding to those totals there and here in the Bay Area. Breezy and cool conditions will finish for Friday with slightly warmer temps and less wind for Saturday. Increasing clouds into Saturday evening will lead to increasing rain chances by mid to late morning on Sunday. So outdoor plans for now look like a safer bet on Saturday. Rain will change to showers into Monday with more chances for some showers at times especially for areas north of San Francisco at least through midweek.
