Cool Temps, Poor Air Quality

Overcast skies will start the day Sunday, then transition to partly cloudy skies heading into the evening. Highs will recover from the early morning lows in the 30s and 40s to the upper 50s to lower 60s. Look for slightly warmer temps especially for the South Bay approaching midweek as we await our one and apparently only chance for rain this week from a storm system that will weaken while entering the Bay Area. Some rain should fall late Thursday into early Friday before high pressure resumes its hold across Northern California, keeping us in a mainly drier than average pattern through the middle of the month with more Spare the Air days due to smoke pollution likely at times as well.- Rob Mayeda
