Cool With Showers Possible

A trough of low pressure moving into the region will bring an increasing chance for some showers later Monday into early Tuesday morning but in the meantime expect a mix of clouds and sunshine with continued cool temperatures.Highs will again range in the 60s to low 70s with an stray shower possible across the North Bay and near the coastal mountains. Odds for seeing a brief shower should increase later Monday as cooler air aloft and increasing atmospheric lift arrive. This pattern will also bring some increasingly gusty NW winds Monday night into Tuesday from 15-25 mph and gusts higher near the coast and hills.Shower chances and winds should decrease Wednesday with a subtle midweek warmup before perhaps more clouds and another chance for showers especially north of San Francisco late Thursday into Friday before warming and clearing return for next weekend.- Rob Mayeda
