Cooler, Breezy Weekend With Some Showers

A cold trough dropping in from the Pacific Northwest will usher in much cooler air for the weekend, and possibly toss a few showers our way into early Monday. As this system has dropped in mainly over land, moisture doesn’t look as robust as the more subtropically infused system that brought us rain over the last two days. Look for Saturday highs running about 10 degrees cooler than Friday with most areas only topping out in the low to mid 50s this weekend, along with locally gusty NW winds near the coast and hills. Chances for showers end by Monday, with gradually warming weather and dry conditions expected for most of next week. – Rob Mayeda
