Cooling and Rain Chances Ahead

High pressure will begin weakening today, promoting the return of low clouds and a developing sea breeze which will drop temps a few degrees from Thursday’s warm temps, esp. near the coast and inner bay. Valley temps may still hang on to 70s and low 80s as the marine air arrives later in the day. We’ll see increasing clouds through the weekend with continued cooling. Some rain may drop into the North Bay at times later on Sunday, but widespread rain chances will likely hold off until Monday and Tuesday as a weather system moves southward across the Bay Area. More rain is possible later next week as well, keeping monthly rain totals going well above average.
