Cooling Changes Ahead

High pressure boosted temps well into the 90s for most of the valleys on Monday, but should begin weakening some during the day Tuesday. This will allow a slow, steady deepening of the marine layer coupled with stronger onshore winds to bring temps down a few degrees. Highs should cool to the 60s and 70s around the coast and bay with some mid to upper 80s inland from San Jose out to the Tri-Valley.Areas of drizzle and mist will be possible during the next few mornings as onshore winds increase ahead of a trough of low pressure moving in just to our north. Temps should stay in roughly the same range for the second half of the week into next weekend as well. Enjoy your Tuesday! – Rob Mayeda
