Cooling Continues

The return of a strong sea breeze and deepening marine layer will bring some drizzle or brief light rain to parts of the Bay Area into the morning, best odds being near the coast, peninsula and bayside locations through mid-morning. Our overall cooling trend will continue into the weekend as highs drop into the 60s and 70s, with possibly a few showers trying to appear in the forecast by Sunday. Best odds for those showers appear to be near the North Bay, we’ll be watching closely this weekend. Also note, the much cooler than average pattern will bring snow to the Sierra, possibly in the 6,000-7,000’ range starting later Saturday into Sunday. Plan on Winter-like travel for the Sierra this weekend with gusty wind as well.
