Dry, Windy At Times

A trough of low pressure passing by to the north will be followed by high pressure trying to build in from the west. The result will be a period of northwesterly to northerly winds that will lower humidity levels and boost temps a few degrees into Thursday. For Solano county and our inland hilltops this will increase fire danger concerns, enough to warrant a Red Flag Warning through 8pm Thursday for Solano County into the Central Valley.Temps will begin to drop into Friday and the weekend ahead as another, cold trough drops down the West Coast. This system will bring a chance for some drizzle near the coast and bay and increase instability over the higher hills, possibly to warrant a slight risk for thunder especially for the Sierra and North Bay coastal mountains this weekend, so keep tuned to the forecast.- Rob Mayeda
