Frosty Morning, Breezy Finish To The Weekend

FROSTY START, COOL AND SUNNY FINISH. Cool dry air and mostly clear skies overnight will help allow morning temperatures to dip into the upper 20s to mid 30s in our wind-sheltered valleys over the next couple of mornings. By the afternoon we’ll see mostly sunny, to somewhat hazy afternoon sunshine with highs in the mid 50s to low 60s. MIDWEEK WARMING: SOME 70s POSSIBLE LATE IN THE WEEK. Gradually temperatures should warm as high pressure strengthens near the Bay Area into the middle of the new week. Highs will climb into the mid 60s as early as Wednesday in the warmest inland valleys. Unfortunately though we could use more rain and Sierra snow, it doesn’t appear likely during the next 7 days as high pressure holds strong across the state.
