Heat, Humidity, Showers

Moist, tropical air continues flowing into California courtesy of former Hurricane Dolores, now a remnant low off the Southern California coast but having lasting impacts on our weather pattern to start the week. The moisture rich environment is helping to retain heat from Sunday’s high temps with most spots *starting* Monday morning off in the 60s and 70s with more 80s and 90s for highs coupled with higher than usual humidity. We’ll see chances for showers and thunder at times mainly for areas south to the south as the focus of the heaviest rain and strongest storms continue to be across Central and Southern California. By Tuesday as the upper level low tracks eastward, the tropical air should move away with it, shower chances should subside and temps will begin cooling as stronger onshore winds return for the middle of the week.
