High Surf and Warm Temps

Patchy dense fog is starting the day in our inland valleys, skies should trend to hazy sunshine by midday with temps about 5 to 10 degrees above average – mostly mid to upper 70s, even a few low 80s are possible. A high surf advisory continues through 6pm with breakers in the 15-20 ft+ range possible into the afternoon. Mild temps should continue another day Thursday before we see increasing clouds and a chance for some light rain returning to the North Bay by the evening on Veterans Day. This system is expected to weaken as it transits the Bay Area into Saturday, so a few early showers will be possible before skies clear into Saturday afternoon. Our next and better chance for rain should be around Tuesday next week as high pressure gets replaced by a trough of low pressure along the West Coast.
