Hot Start to the Week

Areas of low clouds will remain near the coast as valley temps rise into the 80s and low 90s for the end of the weekend and make a run into the mid 90s in a few spots through Tuesday. Temps should remain mostly in the 60s and 70s around the coastline and inner bay. We’ll see increasing clouds and cooling into Wednesday as the sea breeze returns, yet we’ll also be watching increasing mid-level moisture from former Hurricane Blanca which may drift far enough to the northwest to bring a slight chance of showers our way midweek. For now the best threat for showers or isolated thunder from this looks to be across the Sierra and Southern California.
