Hot Temps, High Fire Danger

Temps are set to soar into the 80s-100s over the next two days with 70s and 80s from the coast to San Francisco and mid 80s and 90s from Oakland to San Jose. Areas south of San Jose and into the North Bay and Tri-Valley will see highs in the 95-105 range. Air quality is also an issue with a Spare the Air Day for Tuesday, and given the current weather pattern we’ll likely see this extended for at least into Wednesday. Later in the week, we should begin to see a drop in temps near the coast on Thursday and all areas by Friday however humidity levels will likely be rising as subtropical clouds spill out of Southern California and spread closer to the Bay Area to start the weekend. We may manage a few showers or isolated thunder chances if enough of this moisture sweeps far enough to the west, so stay tuned!
