Hot Weather Returns

High pressure building back into California will help compress the cooler marine air mainly to near the coastline, and help inland temps climb into the 90s and 100s in the interior valleys over the next two days. The hottest day of the week should be Wednesday with some cooling into Thursday as onshore winds pick up slightly and increasing mid/high level clouds move in from the south. This may warrant a chance for some isolated thunder or brief showers as well late Thursday into Friday so stay tuned.
