Mild Weekend, Rain Ahead

High pressure will hold on at least for a couple more days before rain chances begin to return and eventually dip further south which each passing storm. Sunday should see a mix of some patchy fog for the morning and increasing clouds during the day. Highs will be mainly in the 60s. A few sprinkles will be possible along the coast and into the North Bay as this weakening system passes by into early Monday. Temps will climb a few degrees to start the week with 70s again possible, before another chance for a little rain approaches the North Bay on Tuesday. By Thursday, high pressure begins to give ground and we’ll see our best chance for measurable rain Bay Area-wide on Thursday. The best system in the series arrives on Saturday night into Sunday with better upper level wind support and moderate rain amounts and welcome Sierra snow expected by next weekend.
