Morning Fog & Drizzle

Areas of patchy dense fog and drizzle will be around for the next few nights and mornings as high pressure sends more substantial rain chances to our north through early Wednesday morning.Near the coast and bay, be watchful for localized flooding due to higher than usual tides over the next two mornings to about midday. Its starting to look like Christmas eve will be turning breezy and rainy at times, with a fairly quick moving system that will usher in cooler air for the second half of the week. For those with Christmas eve and Christmas Day travel plans, factor in snow for the Sierra and some rain overnight into early Thursday for the Bay Area. Skies should clear and trend drier again entering into the weekend. Overnight temps may need to be watched as skies clear and cooler, drier air settles in. We may be seeing some patchy frost for a few areas for the weekend and beyond.- Rob Mayeda
