Rain Brings Flooding Risk

A slow moving strong storm is bringing high surf and a coastal flood warning through 7am, and localized flooding possible due to intense rain rates at times into the morning commute, especially for the South Bay and Santa Cruz mountains. Widespread rain should exit fairly quickly by mid-morning to midday with lingering showers possible especially near the hills as a fairly moist flow continues over the Bay Area. Another round of heavy rainfall and breezy conditions returns early Tuesday though about lunch time as our second storm arrives. Drier conditions are expected for most of Wednesday into early Thursday.
