Rob Mayeda's Forecast: Weekend Cooling, Heat Returns Next Week

A stronger sea breeze, more low clouds will continue to keep things cool to mild to wrap up the weekend. Areas of drizzle will be possible esp. near the coast and bay, along with locally blustery conditions with onshore winds in the 15-30 mph range. Highs will be at their coolest Sunday and Monday for most inland locations before high pressure builds back over the region by midweek. Its likely we’ll see bay temps in the 70s and 80s again with valleys soaring into the 90s and possibly nearing 100s inland by Wed/Thursday.
