Rob's Forecast: Showers and Isolated Thunder Sunday

Yet another late season storm spins down the coast Saturday night into Sunday. Some rain should fill in for Saturday night and change over to a combo of showers and sunny breaks for Sunday. The chilly air aloft, decent lift providing by the storm over NorCal and daytime warming at ground level usually makes for a recipe of hail producing thunderstorms, look for these chances to increase midday Sunday into the early evening before weakening near and after sundown as the atmosphere stabilizes. A few lingering showers are possible early Monday with ongoing breezy conditions taking us through midweek and clearing skies. These north winds will hint at high pressure building back to the coast, setting the stage for a warmup for the second half of the week into next weekend.
