Rob's Forecast: High Fire Danger and Warm Temps

A red flag warning will continue for the North Bay hills, Diablo Range and inland East Bay valleys through 6am Monday. Dry north of offshore winds and strong high pressure will also result in temperatures well above average into the mid 80s to even a few low 90s inland. This coupled with extremely dry vegetation is leading to Summer-like fire conditions, and early red flag fire warning for the Bay Area, the first one issued in May since 2013. Wind speeds should decrease into Monday but temps look to stay pretty warm with even better chances for some valley 90s probably through Tuesday before a stronger sea breeze begins to take an edge of the Summer-like temps past midweek.
