Rob's Forecast: Rain Chances Ahead

Cooling temperatures are on the way as wind turn back onshore, plus we will see increasing clouds Tuesday for a slight chance of showers mainly near the South Bay into the afternoon and a more widespread and better chance for rain arriving later on Thursday courtesy of a storm moving in from the the Gulf of Alaska. While rain totals will be light, we’ll need to watch Tuesday’s pattern for any convective showers that may involve lighting (more of a threat this point to the Central Coast) while Thursday into Friday morning’s weather system will bring mainly areas of light to briefly moderate rain overnight especially into the North Bay, where fire crews will hopefully gain more ground as temps cool, humidity rises and some rain falls.
