Warm Start to the Week

High pressure will hold strong for another day, with temps in the 70s and 80s across most of the Bay Area, possibly nearing and breaking a few records across the region. Late in the day, we should see the return of onshore winds, leading to significantly cooler temps near the coastline and inner bay by midweek. We’ll see a slight chance for showers on Wednesday, mainly north of San Francisco as an upper level system tracks by just to our north. Better chances for rain should arrive late Thursday into Friday as a more organized weather system takes aim on Northern California.
