Warming For Father's Day

Strong high pressure will bring dangerous heat to parts of Southern California and temps into the 80s and some 90s inland across our valleys starting as early as Sunday. Temps in the valleys should peak Monday into Tuesday with some relief across the central bay on Wednesday as onshore winds begin to increase. An area of low pressure looping in toward the upper West Coast may bring a slight chance for showers or thunder to the north of Santa Rosa late Thursday, as temps cool down into the 80s inland by the end of the week.
