Watching Wind, Weekend Rain

Marine air is up to nearly 1,800 ft and coupled with an all day onshore breeze most temps will stay in the 60s to 70s range, with a few 80s well inland. Friday’s temps look cooler as a weather system races through, supplying cooler and drier air into the region. Gusty northwesterly winds are likely to develop by the afternoon into Saturday. Around the Loma Fire, humidity levels will lower rapidly and wind speeds may approach 35 mph+ along the ridges. Decreasing wind and increasing clouds will be the trend later on Saturday with a chance for some rain developing on Sunday. Lingering showers are likely into Monday with a slight risk for thunder as much cooler air aloft moves through the region. Skies should trend drier and temp climb again approaching the middle of next week.
