Weather Alert: More Wind and Rain Sunday

While things should be somewhat quiet near sunrise in terms of wind and rain, look for quick changes later in the morning as our second storm arrives. Wind gusts will once again ramp up into the afternoon and evening with gusts near or above 45 mph possible, especially near the coast and hills. Rain totals should be much higher as the storm takes longer to clear the Bay Area. Generally 1”-2” totals in the mountains (locally higher w/ some runoff issues possible out of the mountains) and in the 0.50” to 1.50” range for lower elevations as we see the highest rain rates from midday into the evening. Rain should change to showers overnight with a mainly dry forecast now setting up for Monday with only a few isolated showers.
