Some of us saw more than an inch of rain while others received just enough to wet the ground. The rain shadow effect was on full display again, and in some cases a 15-minute drive can mean the difference of nearly 3 feet of rain per year. NBC Bay Area Meteorologist Rob Mayeda shows us how it works.
