Weather Likely Not A Factor In SFO Plane Crash

Conditions at San Francisco International Airport this morning at 11:27 a.m., when an Asiana Airlines Boeing 777 crashed on the runway, were far from extreme. In fact, visibility was clear & winds were light out of the Southwest at 5 – 15 mph. Overall, it does not look like weather played a role in this crash. The investigation will continue, but at this point it looks like weather did not play a factor.
