Morning Misty Skies

High pressure strengthening temporarily will compress down the layer of low clouds for some local fog, drizzle and mist as these low clouds rise over the hills and across the peninsula. While the coast and bay seen temps holding fairly steady, inland valleys should see temps climb a few degrees into the mid 80s to low 90s to start the weekend. The sea breeze may briefly turn stronger early next week to lead to some brief cooling inland. There are some computer models hinting at a stronger ridge of high pressure trying to establish itself by the middle of next week which could boost valley temps into the upper 90s possibly in the next 10 days… something to keep an eye on as we get closer to next week. Enjoy your Friday and weekend! – Rob Mayeda
