Septem-brr: Showers Possible

The day begins un-September like with wind sheltered valleys seeing some upper 30s to lower 40s. Elsewhere where winds will be active overnight into morning will still feel pretty chilly with 40s to low 50s to start the day. While the day starts out dry and clear, we’ll be watching for increasing clouds and shower chances starting in the North Bay by afternoon and sweeping across the Bay Area by evening. Totals are generally low, and some areas will miss out entirely but plan on some scattered showers esp. near the North Bay and coast into the evening. Note, Winter travel continues for the Sierra with snow showers at times and a Winter Weather advisory into Monday as well. Bay Area showers should decrease into the Monday morning commute with another cool and breezy day in store to start the work week, and gradually trending warmer as we approach next week. Storms will be passing by to our north, which we may have to watch for some dry breezes as high pressure builds behind these low pressure systems.
