Tornado Closes St. Louis Airport. Chief Meteorologist Jeff Ranieri Has Radar When Tornado Hits.

Radar Loop From Severe Storms That Produced St. Louis Lambert Airport Tornado. A possible tornado ripped into the Lambert – St. Louis Airport Friday Night at 8:15 Central. The tornado warning had passengers taking cover as windows blew in and debris went flying. Unknown number of injuries occurred as winds likely topped 100 miles per hour with the tornado. As the storms continued South Friday more tornado watches and warnings were prompted with the severe storms. This was one of at least 12 tornado reports in Missouri Friday.
