Matt Maiocco has covered the San Francisco 49ers since 1995 and has been the 49ers Insider at NBC Sports Bay Area since 2010.
In addition to his daily coverage of the team, Matt also co-hosts the popular 49ers Talk podcast and is an analyst on 49ers Pre- and Post-Game Live during the season.
Matt grew up in Corning (Tehama County) as a fan of all Bay Area teams. He graduated with a journalism degree from Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University).
