The East Bay Regional Park District is offering a $25,000 reward to solve a deadly robbery on a hiking trail in the Oakland Hills.
Two days before Thanksgiving, someone robbed 60-year-old David Ruenzel and then shot him to death in the Huckleberry Botanic Regional Park Preserve.
The East Bay Regional Park District announced the reward increase and re-released two sketches of the persons of interest.
The first male suspect was described as over 6 feet tall with high cheekbones and a thin build.
The second male suspect was described as 6 feet tall, weighing about 240 pounds and described as overly friendly.
