Santa Cruz County: Caltrans Announces Highway Resurfacing Work

Caltrans will begin resurfacing work on state Highway 9 from Greenvale Drive to the junction with state Highway 236 at Waterman's Gap in Santa Cruz County from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday.

Work will continue from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, and 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. Friday.

Motorists will encounter one-way reversing traffic control with delays not to exceed 15 minutes, the agency said.

Electronic message boards will be used to alert motorists of the work.

The $1.2 million project, which includes work in various locations in Santa Cruz and Monterey counties, is expected to be complete in September.
