Kevin Durant

Instant Replay: Without Curry, Warriors Gut Out Win in Portland

BOX SCORE

Stephen Curry never left the hotel, and neither did Klay Thompson's jumper. The 3-point line was no friend of the Warriors on Sunday night in Portland.

So they turned to Kevin Durant and the foul line.

With the Durant scoring a game-high 33 points and the Warriors making a season-high 33 free throws, they were able to hold on for a 113-111 win over the determined Trail Blazers at Moda Center.

Thompson scored 27 points on 6-of-21 shooting from the field, 13-of-15 from the line), Zaza Pachulia tossed in 14 and Andre Iguodala came off the bench to add an important 12 points as the Warriors (41-7) won for the 10th time in 11 games.

The Warriors were 8-of-26 (30.8 percent) from beyond the arc, while Portland (21-28) was 10-of-27.

The victory gave the Warriors a four-game season sweep over the Blazers.
