Wanda Durant Doubles Down on Critics Questioning Her Son Kevin's Character

Wanda Durant didn't hold back the support she has for her son when he hit the ground and clutched his leg in agony during Game 5 of the NBA Finals with what was feared to be a ruptured Achilles tendon. She especially didn't hold back during the after effects when those criticized KD and questioned his integrity.

Her messaged continued Thursday during an interview with Robin Roberts on "Good Morning America" where she once again responded to her son's critics -- and this time around, she could barely hold back the tears:

You could see the emotion as she went on to reflect on those who have questioned him.

She admitted at the beginning, she tried to keep herself out of it all, but when it came to those saying he faked a recent injury, she believed it was really harsh. Especially because she believed these accusations were questioning who he was as a person.

"I know that's not who my son is."

She acknowledged the fans who reached out sending prayers and appreciates their support as well.

Still, you don't mess with Mama Durant.
