The Social Network is going to make it as hard as possible for users to jump ship and hop onto the new Google+ train.
Facebook has blocked a popular Chrome extension that would allow users to export their friends, and then import them into Google+.
CNET notes this is a direct violation of their terms of servie, which state: “you will not collect users’ content or information, or otherwise access Facebook, using automated means without our permission.”
Mohamed Mansour, the man who built the Facebook Friend Exporter tool says, "Facebook is trying so hard to not allow you to export your friends. They started to remove e-mails of your friends from your profile by today July 5th 2011. It will no longer work for many people."
