Fox is developing a movie about the late Bay Area concert promoter Bill Graham.

Graham, a Jewish immigrant from Nazi Germany and Korean War veteran, passed away in a helicopter crash near Vallejo on October 25, 1991.

According to Deadline, the studio owns movie rights for his memoir "Bill Graham Presents: My Life Inside Rock and Out" and is conceiving a story with producer and director Shawn Levy and his production company 21 Laps.

Meanwhile, The Contemporary Jewish Museum of San Francisco will mount a comprehensive retrospective, "Bill Graham and the Rock & Roll Revolution," from March 17 through July 5. The exhibit features 250 objects of memorabilia that comes from the private Graham family archives, as well as lenders including Carlos Santana.

Included are photographs, instruments and a large selection of original Fillmore concert posters, a treasure trove of psychedelic art. The exhibit delves into Graham's storied career as a music promoter as well as his journey to San Francisco, where his first job was as the business manager of the San Francisco Mime Troupe.
