49ers Moving Forward With 2011 Plans

There may be no 2011 NFL season but don't tell the San Francisco 49ers that.

The team is preparing for the upcoming season both on and off the field despite the ongoing lockout.

Tuesday morning the 49ers moved forward as if everything was normal in NFL land with its planned charitable work for next season.

The team announced the first of 16 Bay  Area teachers it plans to honor during the season as a classroom hero.

Teachers can be nominated online and the winners will receive $1,000 for their classrooms along with game tickets and school supplies.

Winning teachers will also be featured on the video display during 49ers' home games for the 2011 season.
