Kings Blown Out by Raptors in Summer League Contest

BOX SCORE

The Kings on Friday were dealt a loss by the Raptors in their first summer league, losing 88-47 in Las Vegas.

There were, however, bright spots for Sacramento. Last year's first-round pick Willie Cauley-Stein tied for a team-high in scoring with seven points. He also finished with three assists and five rebounds.

Malachi Richardson, a rookie guard out of Syracuse, also finished with seven points, as did fellow draft mate and Kentucky product Skal Labissiere.

Duje Dukan chipped in six points, and Retin Obasohan added four.

The Raptors saw four players finished with double-digit points, with Norman Powell leading the way with 13.

The Kings were without 2016 top pick Georgios Papagiannis, as the 7-footer was held out by the team with a precautionary MRI scheduled Saturday.

Isaiah Cousins also did not play, per coach's decision.
